Wu’s Lawyer to view ‘original’ video evidence, Jan 17th, afternoon

January 15th, 2011

Li Fangping contacted me today to tell me that he received a call from the court, requesting that he come in person on Monday afternoon to view the ‘original video’ evidence, that piece of evidence that he called for during the November 17th, 2010 trial, thus resulting in the adjournment of the trial. Please see previous posts, but the piece of video evidence submitted by the police was so badly tampered and edited that the defense lawyer asked to the see the original. We have been waiting since Nov to see it, so cross fingers for Monday’s viewing!

In other news, Dawu’s studio is officially being vacated this week and stored in the extra warehouse of a fellow artist’s, while we look for a new tenant to take over the lease. Anyone know of anyone wanting to rent a 100 sq meter space in the back of 798 art district? Contact me directly.

My studio has been flipped to a young Italian photographer, and he will take over the space – and looking after the studio cat, Mike – on January 20th. The next few days are garage sale for those items I don’t need anymore. Great deals, come tomorrow, too! Contact me directly for more details.

Stay tuned.
